Bangladesh's chief advisor Dr. Younus calls on countrymen to unite to prevent anti-national conspiracies
The Chief Adviser made the call in a dialogue with the main political parties at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital on Wednesday (December 4) afternoon.
In the opening speech of the dialogue, Professor Yunus said, 'Those who did not like our big coup, they want to delete it. wants to hide It wants to present it to the world in a new way. We must all unite against this. It is not a matter of any particular political doctrine, but of our existence as a nation.'
Indicating that the propaganda against Bangladesh is going on, the chief adviser said to the political leaders, 'It has become a big issue in the journey of our new Bangladesh. has become a matter of existence. Let us not fail to deal with this matter properly. For that we can work together with everyone's advice. If everyone works together, a collective power will come.'
Referring to the first day of the mass uprising of the students and the masses, which started on August 5, the chief adviser said to the leaders present, "But the effort that is going on now has a special form. That is why I have specially called you. It is that they are writing the story of another Bangladesh by covering up the Bangladesh that we are trying to build. They are giving various outlines of it all the time. It is not limited to one country. Special big countries are involved.'
Dr. urged everyone to speak out against the propaganda. Muhammad Yunus said, 'We are repeatedly telling those who are spreading misinformation, come and see. There are no obstacles here. What are the barriers to speaking here? Are there barriers to viewing? But no, they are making fiction. Now we have to tell the whole world that we are one. We got the freedom we got together. I didn't get it through any differences, I didn't get it by pushing anyone. Those who were pressing on our chest, I got them out. We have exposed ourselves. That thing should be brought up in front of everyone.'
The head of government said, I want to know the advice on how to present it. We can all do the work together.
Thanking the political parties for participating in the dialogue on the call of the government, the chief adviser said, 'We know why we cannot be freed from the conspiracy. We should be happy about the fact that we were able to move the boulder through the student uprising. But this liberation of ours, this freedom of ours is not liked by many. Attempts are being made to reverse it in various ways, from various places.'
Dr. Yunus said, 'How many ways it has come since August 5, you have seen them in terms of reality. In this situation, I thought that Durga Puja is coming, there will be a commotion about it. There we called for unity, everyone joined in that unity. Pujas were celebrated very peacefully across the country, we were all present.'
The chief adviser said, 'Everyone participated in the joy of the whole country's puja. There was no chaos, no taunting from anywhere. Many people didn't like that either. It is trying again and again.'
Quoting the conspirators, Professor Yunus said, 'They are trying to make the mass uprising look like a terrible thing. They are saying that a terrible crime has happened in Bangladesh, we must protect from that terrible crime. They want to come forward for protection. They need to disprove their propaganda and establish reality. We all have to be united for that.'
Yunus said, 'This is not a matter of any particular political doctrine, but of our existence as a nation. We created a free, independent Bangladesh through a coup, which they want to erase. They want to go back to the way it was. How will they bring the former? They want to create an imaginary Bangladesh. Their power is very high. The power of money and organization is so much that they are gradually creating new fictions to convince people, many people are doubting that.
